Asbestos Register Software

Asbestos register software is aimed at large organisations that need to manage large portfolios of buidings that contain asbestos containing materials. They have been designed to simplify asbestos management making it easier for staff to access and update the information you hold.

As well as providing tools to maintain your registers these products will allow you to keep a log of whether your staff and operatives have accessed this information as they should. They also include tools to produce risk assessments and keep records of remedial works and reinspections. And the obvious advantage of using online asbestos software is that the information can be easily accessed by people in just about any location including your maintenance companies and remote branch offices.

Small businesses

We have developed a sample asbestos register which is an Excel spreadsheet and can be used to automatically calculate risk assessments. This is sufficient for small businesses but if you are the dutyholder for more than 10 premises we'd recommend an enterprise solution like ACM Manager.

Do you know if housing associations are required by law to keep an asbestos register of their housing stock? I repair Artex ceilings as part of my job and although verbally being assured ceilings are safe/tested sometimes doubts arise and I need to find a safe [for resident as well] way of me removing a small sample for anaylisis, even if it leaves a hole in the ceiling
